Nine songs, forty-two minutes. The second record opens in Portuguese with Juntos, runs down the coast through Sand and Down to Laguna, and closes on the title track. Push is cut twice: once with the band, once with a string quintet.

The first record · 2019
The first record, and the one that set the method: songs written in California, then taken to Salvador and cut live with Bahian players. Baritone sax, banjo and percussion sit next to the guitar, and the opener is sung in Portuguese.
The bridge
Daniel Mead, a singer songwriter based in California, has built a cultural bridge between Brazil and the USA, mixing rhythms, sounds, textures, lyrics, energy and musical styles from both countries.
